The Folktale Corner In this corner I intend to bring from
time to time folktales from my repertoire that have no copyrights (either
because they were taken from old books that have no more copyrights, or
because I collected them from the mouths of informants and have their permission
to use them). I bring the stories
in the way I use to tell them in my performances. Fill free to use them in
your performances in what ever way you like – the way I tell them, or your
way. Please do not publish them in books or internet sites without my
permission, but feel free to pass them on to your friends (but don't forget
to indicate the source). 1. How coffee came to our world? – An Arab folktale 2. The diamond of Adam
– A Jewish-Afghani folktale 3.
The dream diviner and the snake
– A folktale from 4.
The diamonds land
– An American Jewish folktale 5.
The Sultan and the Ramadan
– A Sepharadic-Jewish folktale from 6.
The prophet Issa [Jesus], son of Miriam [Mary] –
A Jewish folktale from 7.

folktale from 8.
